He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert "Bob" and Imogene Ruth Powell (Barlow). He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Powell of Mitchell; his children, B. J. Powell (Bobbi Jo) of Bedford and Alicia Claffey of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Audrey Powell, Maddie Powell and Cody Powell; his great grandchild Coda Jackson; and his brothers, David Powell of Mitchell, Darryl Powell (Molly) of Mitchell and Mike Powell (Deb) of Salem.
