He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles D Crane and Patricia G Crane (Woodruff); and his brother John Charles Crane. He is survived by: his wife Amber Clampitt Crane; his daughters, Mickayla Leigh Crane and Alyce Marie Crane; his grandsons, Dawson Charles Crane and Noah Lee Crane; his siblings, Margie Ruth Trimpe (Philip) and Larry Joe Crane (Lisa); and his nieces and nephews, Bradley Trimpe, Matthew Trimpe, Karcyn Davers, Logan Lane and Hunter Clampitt. He is also survived by five great nephews and two great nieces.
