It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommie Lee Campbell of Mishawaka, Indiana, born in Rochester, Indiana, who passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Campbell and Mavoure Campbell (Simpson); and his children, Laura, Maureen Campbell and Mark Campbell.
He is survived by: his former spouses, Ray Campbell (Tammy) of South Bend and Diane Campbell of Carpentersville, IL; his stepchildren, Robert Swintz (Deborah) of Indianapolis and Myra Swintz (Sharon Pape) of Mishawaka; his grandchildren, Bill Campbell (Allison), Beth Campbell, Nick Swintz (Kylie), Katie Swintz, Matt Swintz (Kaity), Chrissy Batalis (Austin) and Hope Swintz; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Brody, Blair, Kieran, Rory, Rosalee and Iyla; his sister Mary Ann Peterson; his niece Pam Calhoun; and his sister-in-law Karen Shoup.
Tommie was deeply loved by his family and was known for his dedication to fitness, regularly working out at his gym until the COVID pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or any other veterans' organization.
