He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Moorman and Mary Moorman (Huber); his wife Rosemary Moorman (Megyese); his son Thomas E. Moorman Jr.; and his siblings, Clem B., John A. Moorman and Betty Jo Miller.

He is survived by: his sister Mary Ann Kuzmic of Colorado; his close friend Jill Graff of South Bend; his children, Pamela L. Goddard-Dunfee (Jim) of Elkhart, Michael J. Moorman (Linda) of Mishawaka and Susan M. Collier of South Bend; and his grandchildren, Stacy Goddard-Vervynckt (Jeffrey), Jeffrey Goddard, Richie Moorman, Laura Wilken (Kevin), Kristina Phelps (Buzz), Schaune Johnson (Drew), Kristopher Moorman, Josh Moorman, Dan Collier (Sommer), Sara Collier, Thomas Collier (Brianne) and Casey Collier (Britney). He is also survived by 29 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
