She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward E. Ryles and Hilda A. Ryles (Durdan); her husband William Werntz Sr.; and her daughter Denise Werntz. She is survived by: her children, Billy Werntz Jr. of Celina, Earl Werntz (Rose) of Dayton, Peggy Edmonson (Don) of Mishawaka, Gary Werntz of Mishawaka, Ken Werntz (Roberta) of Goshen, Linda Perkins (Doug) of Ft. Wayne and Evelyn Wood (Gerald) of Plymouth; and her sisters, June Smith of Georgia and Betty Miller of Missouri. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561).
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Charities.
