He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Boyer and Betty Boyer; and his brother Bill Boyer. He is survived by: his children, David, Amanda Elyse, Christopher and Annalee Boyer (Patrick); his grandson Robby Chatwin; and his sisters, Julie Shertzer (Bryan) and Donna Anderson (Jim). He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
