He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon L. Day Sr. and Marian Searvogle (Bakeman); and his brother Gordon Day Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Koebler; his daughters, Debbie Jones (Rich) and Becky Ragsdale (Brent); his stepchildren, Carolyn, Kenneth, Freddie and Kevin; his siblings, Kathy Shank (Phil), Kim Rothfuchs, Ruth Hesser (Dick) and Charles "Chuck" Searvogel; and his sister-in-law Carol Day. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hahn Funeral Home (505 W 8th St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
