With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis A Banes (Mishawaka, Indiana), who passed away on October 8, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Hassett and Bessie Hassett; her husband Arlan Banes; and her grandson Clark Goerke. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Goerke (Robert), John Banes (Shelly) and Leanne Kelly (Sean); her grandchildren, Kelli Beery (Nic), Heather Doering (Scott), Danielle Banes-Foster (Josh), Jena Banes, Kyle Clodfelter (Hilary), Brook Clodfelter, Kaelin Kelly, Katherine Kelly and Conor Kelly; and her siblings, Theodore Hassett, Mary Thornbrough (Preston) and William Hassett (Melinda).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Phyllis' name.
