Scherer (Cynthia Carr) of Centennial, CO and John M.; his grandchildren, Nikole Oliver Scherer, Rebecca Carr, Julia Scherer, Daniel Scherer, Ian Scherer and James Scherer; his siblings, Mary Clutz (Wendell), Ruth Schanke and James Scherer of Des Moines, IA.; and his wife Darlene I. Lienau.
