We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2024, at the age of 84, Mary Kay Brown in Mishawaka, Indiana, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brown, Sr. and Catherine Brown (Blaney). She is survived by: her brother Charles Brown, Jr.; her daughters, Jennifer Brown (Michele Machowiak) of Mishawaka, Kim Brown of Mishawaka, Jessica Lester of South Bend and Valarie Lester of South Bend; and her grandchildren, Ethan, Charity, Sean, Dakota and Andrew.
In honor of Mary Kay's passion for uplifting others, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics of St. Joseph County, an organization that champions the abilities and achievements of individuals with intellectual disabilities, reflecting Mary's own belief in the potential of every person.
