Mary Ann Nichols Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Nichols (Mishawaka, Indiana), born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Szewczyk and Mary Lafferty (Piechocki); her siblings, Delphine Rogers, Dianne Schneider and Donald Harley; her sister-in-law Barbara; her son-in-law Steve Klatt; and her husband Millard "Nick" Nichols.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Sailor (Leonard), Kim Klatt, Perry Nichols (Ann) and Robert Nichols (Susan); her grandchildren, Andy Klatt, Amy Klatt, Rachel Wright, Katy Shepherd and Megan Horvath; her great grandchildren, Lauren Bell, Melody Klatt, Perry Shepherd and Selah Wright; and her siblings, Linda Delagrange (Stan), Richard Harley and Michael Harley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
