She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Martha Bell Phelps (Turner); her brother Bob Phelps; her niece Laura Watson; and her great-niece Amanda Watson.
She is survived by: her spouse Willard Searfoss; her children, James Searfoss (Jenn) of New York, Luke Searfoss (Danelle) of Edwardsburg, Audrey Searfoss and Guy Searfoss (Tina); her foster children, Albany Green and Tesla Burns; her stepparents, Warren Mason of Elkhart and Elizabeth Phelps of Osceola; her siblings, Vicky Grafton (Arch), James Phelps (Judy), Marie Curths (Richard) and Dawn Summeier (Ray); and her sister-in-law Kathy Phelps. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
