She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry "Bud" Krant and Joyce Krant (Kohn); and her husband Rueben Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Staples (Mike) and Randy Schmidt (Lori); her grandchildren, Kerrigan Bane (Anthony), Kamryn Schmidt and Caleb Staples; her great grandchildren, Kinsley Bane and Alexander Bane; and her brother Dave Krant (Kathy).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Bubb Chapel (3910 N Main St, Mishawaka, IN 46545). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel (3910 N Main St, Mishawaka, IN 46545).
Memorial contributions may be donated in Karol's name to a Cancer organization of the donor's choice.
