She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Alonzo and Marjorie Bernice Sherland (Wynn); her husband Duane Laidig; her stepbrother Greydon Tabor; her half-brother Larry Sherland; her siblings-in-law, Jon, Stanley Laidig, Dick Billman, Myrt Laidig and Phyllis Billman; and her great grandchild Macy Kathryn Laidig.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Andy Laidig (Lindsay), Brent Laidig (Hilary), Julie Mattison (Bryan), Wes Laidig (Meredith), Micah Baumgartner (Kelly), Megan George (Dennis), Aaron Laidig (Liz), Nathan Laidig (Maddie), Samuel Laidig (Paige), Kara Brinkerhoff (Justus), Kendra Babione (Ben), Caleb Laidig (Jessica), Abigail Lusk (Zachary) and Jeffrey Laidig (Corey); her great grandchildren, Logan, Tyson, Lucy, Carly, Ellie, Henry, Hadlee, Chase, Grady, Blakely, Nora, Reese, Paige, Annika, Hantz, Korinthia, Daniella, Maya Jo, Myka, Franklin, Wellington, Lincoln, Palmer, Kellen, Nolan, Leighton, Caroline, Cooper, Parker and Baker; and her siblings-in-law, Sonja Laidig and Dwight (Sandy Laidig). She is also survived by her four children and their spouses.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Community Gospel Church (68893 IN-331, Bremen, IN 46506). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
