It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Ellsworth Steele Jr. (Mishawaka, Indiana), born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Henry departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Henry. Though Henry may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Steele and Audrey Steele (Udell); his wife Jo Ann Weber; and his sisters, Dixie and Peggy.
He is survived by: his children, Henry III (Amanda), Michelle Weade (Rex) and Cindy Haney (Steve). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
