He is survived by: his brother Thomas; his sister-in-law Margaret Vander Heyden; his brother Mark Vander Heyden; his niece Elizabeth Folkerts (Adam) of Mishawaka; his nephew Michael Vander Heyden (Molly) of Acton, Mass.; his great-nephew Graham Folkerts; his sister Sandra Hampel of Nevada; his nephew Andrew Rose of Massachusetts; his niece Deborah Mueller of Nevada; his great-nephews, Morgan, Jason, Ryan Mueller and Carson Rose; and his great-niece Addison Rose.
