He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Polsgrove and Ellen Polsgrove (Kirby); and his son Mark. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Scott Polsgrove (Kimberly), Penny Smarrella (John) and Suzanne Weber (John); his grandchildren, Mark Polsgrove (Hannah), Tyler Polsgrove (Olivia), Jake Smarrella (Madison), Kylie Waldroop (Jacob), Kara Hunt (Will), Kaylee Smarrella, Ryan Polsgrove, Jessica Smarrella, Drew Polsgrove, Trenton Weber, Brynn Smarrella, Julie Weber, Jay Weber and Collin Weber; and his siblings, Sandra Bill (Ed), Sharon Kusner (Phil) and Leonard Polsgrove (Linda). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
