He was predeceased by: his parents, George Benjamin and Geraldine Elizabeth Proctor (Berndt); his daughter Elizabeth Proctor; and his brothers, Gerald Proctor and John Dean Proctor.
He is survived by: his sons, David Proctor Jr. (Anne) of Columbus, OH and Carl John Proctor (Kim) of Tennessee; and his siblings, Jerry Lynn Smith (Richard) of Elkhart and Keith Forsythe (Margie) of Mishawaka. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George's name may be made to First English Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society.
