She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clem Nijak and Ann Nijak (Dezamitz); her spouse Bruce Thomas; her daughters, Dawn Springman (Dennis) of South Bend, Terri Hively of South Bend, Shirley Wright (Tim) of South Bend and Robin Schultz (Donnie) of South Bend; and her siblings, Sal Nijak (Jenny) of South Bend, Chris Nijak (Judy) of Winder and Mary Barbara (John) of South Bend.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice Care.
