The memory of Elizabeth Jane Chamberlin of Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Sr. Kohler and Florine Kohler (VanHuffell); and her siblings, Howard "Snook" Kohler, Robert Kohler, Arthur Kohler, Frances Klaer, Mary O'Conner, Geneva Haskell and Ruthie Kohler.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Chamberlin Jr. (Becky), Geneva Brennan (Tim), Angel Hess (Derron), Regina Gomes (Joe) and Melanie Chamberlin-Dorsch (John); and her grandchildren, Joseph III, Ryan, Craig, Erin, Mary, Kelsey, John, Christina, Jake, Caitlin, Alec, Joey, Liz, Cassandra, Kenny, Alexis, Merideth, Courtney and Valerie. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home (503 W 3rd St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A rosary will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (220 W 4th St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at the Fairview Cemetery (1415 N Main St, Mishawaka, IN 46545).
In her memory, donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church for the stained-glass window restoration project, or the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ.
