He was predeceased by: his significant other Barbara J. Gill. He is survived by: his children, Tonya M. Runyan (Chris) of Osceola, Sherri L. Gill (Shad Chiszar) of South Bend, Douglas J. Gill, Jr. of Bremen, Warren P. Gill (Tina) of South Bend and Justin E. Gill (Michelle) of Mishawaka; and his brother Darrel Gill (Sharon) of Osceola.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hanley & Sons Funeral Home "southwest Chapel" (23421 IN-23, South Bend, IN 46614).
Memorial contributions may be made in Douglas' name to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
