He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald M. Sloan and Ruth L. Kettering; his stepdaughter Linda; and his son Robert Lee Sloan (Kathy). He is survived by: his former wives, Marilyn M. Key and Rose Mary Fisher (Sally); his wife Betty L. Helm; his brother Robert Sloan; his nieces, Becky and Laura; his nephew Brian; his stepson Terry; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Sloan; his grandchildren, Michael Sloan, Samantha Jane Barfield (Robert Samuel) and David Kyle Marvel; and his great grandchildren, B. L. Barfield, Adeline Rae Marvel and Blakely Mae Marvel.
