He was predeceased by: his mother Maude Lucille Slocum (Short); his son Daniel Slocum; his grandson Steven Robert Maley; and his siblings, James Slocum, Joan Higginbaugh and Donna Eberlein.
He is survived by: his father Clyde O. Sr. Slocum; his daughters, Debbie Fair (John) of South Bend, Terri Barger of Mishawaka and Vickie Maley (Tom) of Kendallville, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Markus Fair (Natalie), Julie Fair, Darcy Zinich (Tony), Chad Barger, Stacy Barger, Rachelle Herron (Keith) and Courtney Ozminkowski (JD); his great grandchildren, Willa Sue, Leni June Fair, Jordyn Herron, Elijah and Malia Ozminkowski; his brother Thomas Slocum; and his sisters-in-law, Cheryl Slocum and Judy Shaw.
