He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence John and Leona Lang (Chamberlin); his daughter Lois Smith; and his sister Lois Lang. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ward; his daughter Ruth Elston of Mishawaka; his grandchildren, Jeff Elston (Sahara), Dawn Hall (Al Tyson III) and Anthony Lang; his great grandchildren, Courtney Elston, Richard Hall II, Wesley Lang and Kory Lang; and his friends, Jack Lennox, Pete LaCava Jr. and L. G. Von Myers.
In his memory, donations may be made to the Humane Society.
