He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis LaCava and Carmella LaCava (Toce); and his siblings, Carmen LaCava, Larry Marshall and Rose Marie Dene.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen LaCava (Miller); his children, Steven LaCava (Jean), Keith LaCava (Tonnya), Christine LaCava and Karen Hibshman (Alan); and his grandchildren, Noah Hibshman, Baylee Umpleby (Tim), Heather Vigil (Marcus), Charles White (Marlene), Jacob White (Megan) and Bradford Wolfe. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
