He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Ray and Estella Frances Ray; his wife Kathy Starkey Ray; his sister Irma Bailey; his niece Annette Griffith; his children, Tanya Roberts (Greg), Phillip Ray (Ginny), Mac Gerkin (Sarah) and Charlie Gerkin (Crystal); and his grandchildren, Marie, Sydney, Kenna, Mac, Franklin, James and Easton Gerkin.
