She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Pennington; her former husband Dunaway; and her pet Buster. She is survived by: her mother Ruth Pennington (Biddle); her fiancé Steve Metcalf "Cheezy"; her brothers, Randy Pennington of Connersville and Rick Pennington of Indianapolis; her children, Jessi Murphy (Jimmy) of Connersville, Amanda Hensley (Jasper) of Milton and Chester Gibbs, Jr.; her grandsons, Bryce Gibbs, Trey and Virgil "Quinn" Grizzell; her niece Karla Beltran; her sisters, Cindy Higgins, Beth Frazier, Lisa Nichols, Kelly Julian and Charity Nash; and her daughter Jessica Harris. She is also survived by her four children.
