He was predeceased by: his parents, John Guy and Maude Overstreet Phillips (Elsie); and his brother George Phillips of Hagerstown. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Francis Unrein Brown; his daughters, Susan Steele (Larry) of Cambridge City and Rhonda Phillips of Connersville; and his grandchildren, Jenny Pugh of Milton, Travis Steele of Milton, Jesse Steele of Cambridge City, Shawney Spicer of Florida and Benny Ritter of Florida. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
