She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Cate and Evelyn Cate (Buhl); her husband Allen T. "Brownie" Brown; her daughter Linda Kinsinger (Byron); her grandchildren, Danny Hall, Jason Hall (Pam) and Leslie Steele (Travis); her great grandchildren, Lacy, Haley, Hannah, Zach Hall, Sidney and Morgan Steele; her great great grandchild Brinley Steele; and her sister Delores Whitton.
