He is survived by: his wife Mary Martha Hungerford; his children, Stephen (Mary) of Columbus, Joe (Gretchen) of Fishers and Susan Layton (Greg Roland) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Meg, Corbin, Ty and Jaclyn; his great grandchild Ripley; and his nephew Bob Howe (Judy) of North Vernon.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Milroy United Methodist Church (114 N Pleasant St, Milroy, IN 46156). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
