She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ollo and Ella F. Dukes (Durham); her husband Robert E. "Bob" Bright; her children, Allen "Syd" Stamper and Tammy Bradley; and her siblings, Virginia Linnie, John Dukes, Roberta Barnwell, Carmen Elliott and Dorothy Clark.
She is survived by: her caregiver Norman E. Adamson (Rebecca); her son Jimmy D. Adamson (Stephanie); her son-in-law Tim N. Bradley; her stepdaughter Robin Slattery; her siblings, Jim Dukes, William "Butch" Dukes and Lula Mae VanWinkle; her extended family, Nancy Clark and Henry Borders; her grandchildren, Sherri Hanger, Kasey Melvin, Nicole Neal, Brandy Adamson, Megan Hunter, Danielle Manship, Dustin Garrett, Josh Chanley, Kristin Adamson, Jr., Stephanie Bailey, William Nicholson and Michael Nicholson; and her stepgrandchildren, Dale Bright, Justin Bright, Kaylin Bright, Derrick Singleton, Daniel Slattery and Stephanie Gognat. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
