He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Garrett (Hagan) of Milltown, Indiana; his son Michael R. Garrett of New Albany, Indiana; his siblings, Durie Brown Garrett Jr. of Dawson Springs, George Arthur Garrett of Louisville, James Joseph Garrett of Crestwood, Kentucky and Betty Horton of Louisville, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Danielle Manship and Dustin Garrett. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
