It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Donald Schmidt of Milltown, Indiana, born in Sellersburg, Indiana, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Francis and Malenda Elizabeth Schmidt; his wife Collette Schmidt; his brother Terry Lee Schmidt; and his brother-in-law John Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Schmidt (Anne) and Susan Stephens (Rodney); his grandchildren, Randall Stephens (Nicki) and Kaitlyn Lee (Chris); his great grandchildren, Erin, Jaxon, Colton, Aubrae and Hayden; and his siblings, Betty Powell and Larry Joe Schmidt (Carol). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Paul's Episcopal Church (1015 E Main St, New Albany, IN 47150).
