He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Sr. Gumz and Lillian Gumz (Kanak); and his siblings, Mary Ann Houts and Donald Gumz. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Mary Anne Dan; his wife Mary Anne; his children, Victor E. Gumz III of New Carlisle and Lisa Gumz (David) of Mill Creek, Indiana; his grandchildren, Danyelle Gumz (Billy), Ian, Ava and Lucas Cuerdon; and his great grandchild Leo Arnett.
