He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin H. Russ and Dorothy H. Gaw (Rapp); his stepfather Clyde Gaw; and his brother-in-law Bobby Watson. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kaye Mills; his daughters, Janie Blower of La Porte, Cindy Torgesen of La Porte and Jessica Smith (Matthew) of Sawyer, MI; his stepdaughters, Beth Mills of Monterey, IN and Gloria Eiff (Paul) of Mechanicville, MD; and his sister Patti Jo Watson of Fisher, IN. He is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
