Lewis R. Reese Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lewis R. Reese of Mill Creek, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lewis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lewis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Reese and Alice Reese (Wiltfong); his wife Nancy Cripe; and his brother Dennis Reese. He is survived by: his brother Greg Reese (Donna) of Stillwell; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Pletcher (Dirk) of Walkerton and Kari Albert of Walkerton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center (2900 Monroe St, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
