With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lamar A. Burkholder of Milford, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father Alvin E. Burkholder; and his sisters, Etta Fern Yoder and Sharon Sue Burkholder. He is survived by: his mother Anna Mae Burkholder (Hochstetler); his wife Carol Helmuth (Graber); his daughter Emily Ann (Donald "Trey" Larry); his stepchildren, Adam Helmuth (Lorene), Milford, Thomas Helmuth (Catherine) and Lea Yoder (James); his grandchildren, Melissa Helmuth, Caleb Helmuth, Olivia Yoder, Greyson Yoder and Kinsley Yoder; and his siblings, Mary Lou Zehr (Samuel) and Larry Burkholder (Marlene).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Bethany Community Church (19003 US-6, New Paris, IN 46553).
Memorial contributions may be given to family for a tree to be planted in his memory.
