He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Pippenger and Eva Pippenger (Johnston); his son Michael Lee Pippenger; and his siblings, Dorothy Mae Spencer and Robert Devon Pippenger.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Pippenger of Milford; his children, Steve Pippenger (Kitty) of Milford and Nancy Teater (Rick) of Cedar Park, TX; his grandchildren, Jennifer Prater (Kelly) of Claypool, IN, Carlie Pippenger of Milford, IN, Tiffany Treadway (Adam) of Cedar Park, TX and John-Michael Teater of Lufkin, TX; his stepgrandchildren, Denise McManis (Richard) of Etna Green, IN, Dennis Tillotson of Washington, Father Kris Teater of St. Louis, MO and Cody Mast of Indianapolis, IN; and his great grandchildren, Kylie and Wyatt Prater.
