He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Brooks and Inez Brooks; his brother Ted; his niece Amy Crist; and his son-in-law Darrell Krugman.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Carson (Jeff) and Clay Brooks (Mindy); his grandsons, Mason (Lynnsey) of Milford, Jacob of Milford, Jared of Milford, Grant of Milford and Ty of Milford; his siblings, Bob Brooks (Ann) of Milford, Kenny Brooks of Milford and Susan Crist (Scott); his nephews, Rob Brooks, Jason Brooks, Lynn Crist and Ryan Crist; and his niece Annie Crist.
