He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil E., Sr. and Clara Emmons (Lewis); his wife Kathryn Rensberger; his son Roger Emmons; and his sister Audrey Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Krauter (Linda) of Murphy, NC, Darla Brown of North Webster, Debra Robinson (James) of Elkhart and Teresa Bollman of Milford; and his siblings, William Emmons (Ruth) of French Lick, Estel Emmons (Thelma) of French Lick and Wanda Buffington (Terry) of Mitchell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren.
