She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason Richie and Anna Richie (Combs); her siblings, John Richie, Margaret McAdams and Eleanor Ritter; her brother-in-law Bill Wilson; her nephews, Stephen Richie, Doug Richie and Kirk Ritter; and her niece Terry Tucker.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Hughes of Milan; her son Joseph Hughes (Emily) of Lawrenceburg; her siblings, Richard Richie (Jane) of Milan, Roy Richie of Milan and Virginia Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia; her nieces and nephews, Jason Richie, John Richie, Doug Tucker, Pat McAdams, Joe McAdams, Karen Wilson, Cherie Kuhlmeier and Donna Correa; and her grandchildren, Aliyah, Coleman and Malakai Hughes.
Memorials may be given in honor of Sara to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Ripley County Humane Society.
