He was predeceased by: his parents, Frieda Barton, Sr. (Rueter) and Robert Barton. He is survived by: his wife Diane Barton (Volk) of Milan; and his sisters, Donna Barton of Milan and Katherine Rosenberg (Paul) of Madison. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be given in honor of Bob to the American Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
