Ralph Ruggles Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Ruggles of Milan, Indiana, who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Ruggles and Ola Ruggles (Manley); his wife Ruth Ann Ruggles (Molen); his siblings, Leroy, Newell, Herbert, Earl Ruggles and Edith Eaglin; and his son-in-law Pat Montoya.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Montoya of Simi Valley, Roger Ruggles (Tricia) of Mission Viejo and Jason Ruggles (Suzi) of Fortville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kyle Montoya, Jake Montoya (Meg), Greg Ruggles (Kathy), Haley Syke (Landen), Emma Ruggles and Jase Ruggles; his great grandchildren, Rowan Syke, Kennedy Ruggles and Camille Ruggles; his close friend Alice Huffmeyer of Napoleon; and his friends, Doug and Marilyn Turner.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home (707 S Main St, Milan, IN 47031). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be given in honor of Ralph to the Pierceville United Methodist Church.
