She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Watson (Byrd) and Alonza Watson; her husband Vernon Wheeler; her daughters, Verna Lee Wheeler and Alethia Woliung; her siblings, Pauline Salyers, Ruth Watson, Jewel Perkins, Leo Watson, Bobby Watson, Marion Watson and Edward Watson; her son-in-law Stewart Banks; and her grandchildren, Amanda Banks and Scott Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Vernon Wheeler (Sharon) of Milan, Indiana, Joyce Noah (Larry) of Greensburg, Norma Banks of La Fayette and Jacqueline Kissell (Bob) of Beavercreek, Ohio; and her siblings, Ralph Watson of Piney Point, Claude Watson of Salisbury, George Watson of Sacramento, California, Letha Marie Hines of Brooksville and Betty Hopper of Bethel, Ohio. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; and several great great-grandchildren.
Due to the Governor's mandate, social distancing should be observed, and masks must be worn inside the funeral home.
Memorials may be given in honor of Maude to the American Cancer Society.
