He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bradford and Geneva Barbara Freeman (Nead); his sister Elizabeth Sailing; and his close friend Winifred LeVernier. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Butler (Scott) of Charles City, Virginia and Michel "Mike" Freeman (Lana) of Morristown; his grandsons, Edward Freeman (Erica) and Michel "Mikey" Freeman II; his niece Roberta Sailing; and his cousins, Ronnie Nead (Joanne) and Linda Cash (Nead).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mud Pike Cemetery.
