He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Douglas and Lela Douglas (Caine); his daughter Denise Gunter; and his brother-in-law Joseph Ross. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Douglas (Ross) of Milan; his son Michael Douglas of Batesville; his son-in-law Dan Gunter; and his siblings-in-law, Lou Ross of Cincinnati, Michaelyn Bosse (Joe) of Cincinnati and Paula Ross of Cincinnati. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home (707 S Main St, Milan, IN 47031). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in honor of Doug to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society.
