Gurine Lewis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gurine Lewis of Milan, Indiana, who passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Hunter Ballman (Stevens) and Edward Ballman; her husbands, Paul Kissel, Omer Cole and Horace Lewis; her brother Roger Edward Ballman; her stepson Paul Kissel Jr.; and her great grandchild Luke Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pauletta Brewer (Clayton) of Indianapolis and Lynne Davis (Walter) of Milan; and her stepchildren, Jerry Lewis (Quenlin) of Cincinnati and Marilyn Housemeyer of South Bend. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in honor of Gurine to Milan First Baptist Church Music Fund, Margaret Mary Health Hospice, or Ripley Crossing.
