He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley (Landenwitsch) and George Marcum Sr.; his siblings, Ron Marcum and Joan Marcum; and his grandsons, Nicholas Franke and Grayson Shepherd.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Marcum of Milan, Indiana; his children, Pam Sumpter (Jim) of Sharonville, Paula Franke of Harrison, Trisha Shepherd (Bryan) of Fort Thomas, Jillian Marcum (Jesse Wood IV) of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, Tim Burdette (Tyra) of Milan and Tom Burdette of Milan, Indiana; and his sisters, Dale Bucalo of Cincinnati and Janet Nieto of California. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great great-grandchildren.

Social distancing should be observed, and masks must be worn inside.

Memorials may be given in honor of George to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
