He is survived by: his wife Theresa Eldridge of Milan; his children, Garfield "David" Eldridge Jr. (Heather) of South Dakota and Julie Gray (Greg) of Milan; his brothers, Ron Myers (Connie) of Milan, Billy Eldridge (Margie) of Osgood and Robert "Butch" Myers of Dillsboro; his grandchildren, Mercedes Mount of Greensburg, Ryan and Corey Gray of Milan; and his great grandchild Emily Mount.

Memorials may be given in honor of Gar to the Milan Fire Department.
