She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Bushhorn and Eleanor Bushhorn (Werbach); her son Mike Hunter; her great grandchild Brooklyn Hunter; and her brother Delmar Bushhorn.

She is survived by: her husband Elmer Hunter of Milan; her grandchildren, Cory Hunter (Bri Wilson) of Milan, Chris Hunter (Kayla) of Milan, Ashley Hunter of Dillsboro and Eric Hunter of Dillsboro; her great grandchildren, Kenize Hunter, Kolton Hunter, Addison Hunter, Tristen Hunter and Michaela Hunter; and her siblings, Dennis Bushhorn (Ellen) of Westport, Ethel Grigsby of Milan, Erma Hunter of Milan and Linda Craig of Milan.

Memorials may be given in honor of Evelyn to the family.
